Your Vision: Your Relationship with Christ in the Light of Kingdom Reality
My heart burns for the coming and present moves of God. It’s imminently upon us—right now—sweeping across the face of the earth like a tidal wave of glorious light! It’s tearing down strongholds, breaking apart resistance, healing the sick, raising the dead, and delivering the captive. It’s a superior reality, directly opposed to the tormented reality of the world currently held under the sway of the dominating kosmokratoras (rulers of darkness who manipulate and control willing human agents). God’s reality is the supernatural Kingdom of unequivocal, unrelenting, ever-pursuing love of a Father-son relationship. It’s this reality in which we must exist if we are to survive the fervent hostility of demonic entities lurking behind governments, organizations, political parties, institutions, social circles, cities, states, nations, and, yes, even religious institutions—perhaps even your church.
No longer do we have time to play—to “get ready to do something” in the Kingdom. The time of “waiting for the right moment” is passing presently by. It has become a matter of supreme importance that we comprehend the reality in which we are supposed to walk—supernatural; other worldly, and Kingdom-focused. While the satanic order may have largely orchestrated your life up to now, its influence, rule, and stranglehold must be broken and conquered. It’s only in the Kingdom reality that you can walk in the supernatural and defeat the opposing forces of darkness hell-bent on keeping you in their anguished dimension.
Your participation in Kingdom reality is based entirely on understanding the meaning of this reality (that’s what the entire “Your Vision ” series of posts are attempting to achieve). You will not “become” in the Kingdom without first knowing what you are to become. Moving continually further into His reality comes only through a clear perception, seared into your soul with God’s white hot iron. It’s an ever-present understanding that resides in each fiber of your being, bubbling up from the well of Christ’s holy spring, and pouring out of your belly like rivers of living water.
Jesus Christ is the focus of Kingdom reality—He is the deliverer, the healer, the giver of life, the mediator, the cancellation of our sins, and the baptizer with the Holy Spirit. It makes barefaced sense then, to know and understand our own relationship with this wonderful Man.
His earthly ministry served many purposes for us, but from a relationship standpoint, everything birthed and emanated from the Cross and through His resurrection. The future of mankind was forever rearranged in a spectacular way at the Cross. This was the real “big bang” that suddenly and violently shifted the workings of the spiritual universe in man’s favor. Instead of being blocked from God’s presence, man now had an advocate who would forever tear the veil blocking access to God. This is the Covenant of a spiritual unification of unparalleled magnitude. But this comes with a key condition: Anyone who wants to interlace their spirit with God must do so by first becoming one flesh with the very Son of God—to be so joined with Christ as to be considered part of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones! (Ephesians 5:30). To be so intimately united that His very Spirit indwells the flesh of those who believe.
The key phrase in understanding our relationship with Christ is “in Christ.” This one little phrase contains a universe of significance, indicating that as blood-bought, Holy Ghost-filled believers, we have actually been joined and made one with Jesus Christ. And this joining has indeed made us a new creation, no longer our old, satanically owned selves:
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
We have become intimately united to Christ—us “in” Christ and He “in” us!
20 At that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;
30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones..
“Christ in you;” . . . “I in You;” . . . “You in Christ” . . . ”Members of.” Your body is woven like a tapestry of fused light with the Son of God—together in one body. And God so loves His Son, that when you become interlaced into the fabric of His adornment and light, you are granted the same favor, the same love, the same adoration, the same blessings, the same history, the same present, and the same future as the Beloved Son. You are purified and washed clean by the blood that He shed and offered as a perfect sacrifice. And now the very glory of God crosses the dimensional threshold to dwell in your purified temple—the very Holy of Holies of the New Covenant!
I Corinthians 3:16-17
16 Do you not know that you are the temple (naos) of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 . . . For the temple (naos) of God is holy, which temple (naos) you are..
[The Greek word naos. added by the author for clarity and literally means “holy of Holies”]
Christ’s life is our life, and all that He has attained, all His authority, all the fullness of who He is, is now stitched into the whitewashed linen of our bodies. And in a marvelous way, we share in his death, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God—seated in heavenly realms. This is the Covenant relationship of spiritual union and closeness between man and the Creator of the Universe. God is unapproachable light, and we, being joined by the fusion of light itself into the very power of God, have been washed by that light until it flows through the very essence of every atom of our body.
This is the gift of Love from our Creator! This is the testimony of the Divine, spoken in true faith and power into the DNA of our body, soul, and spirit! This is “relationship” in the Kingdom reality!
